2021 was another year of disruptions, uncertainty, and events that defied expectations – in the automotive industry and beyond. After the unprecedented challenges of 2020, the industry had hoped 2021 would bring a greater sense of normalcy, but the various impacts of the ongoing global pandemic continued to wreak havoc. According to our December 2021 Consumer Survey, 91% of used car owners expect their OEM to contact them following a safety recall notice, but as 1% of the car parc turns over every month, finding and contacting the owners of these recalled vehicles can be extremely challenging.  Following the presentations and Q&A Session at 2:00 p.m., LexisNexis Risk Solutions will discuss the impact these ownership changes can have on a recall program’s overall completion and response rates.
