Range is the greatest obstacle to EV adoption. The mass transition to EV adoption won’t happen until drivers are comfortable with an electric vehicle as their only vehicle. That’s why Our Next Energy (ONE) is on a mission to double the range of electric vehicles.
ONE is designing and manufacturing advanced lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles to help the U.S. transition to clean energy. Founded in 2020, ONE has committed to the vision of doubling the range of electric vehicles; using safer, more sustainable raw materials; and establishing a localized supply chain. The company is also building ONE Circle, a 20-GWh battery cell factory in Van Buren Township, Michigan, that will scale-up battery production in 2024.
